eTwinning School y Proyectos
This European Commission initiative emerged in 2005 as part of the eLearning program, with the aim of promoting and facilitating contact between individuals and educational institutions.
Currently, eTwinning has become the largest European community of teachers and schools, bringing together professionals from the 34 countries that are part of the platform.
eTwinning is an online space designed for schools to collaborate securely and free of charge. Through this platform, teachers and students from all over Europe can work on joint projects, exchange best practices, discuss in online groups, and develop their professional skills.
Eduzone
The EduZone project aims to enhance educational inclusion by integrating the CAA (Communication Alternative and Augmentative) method into the teaching and learning process. An interactive digital platform will be created to provide tailor-made educational resources.
The goal of the project is to develop an adapted curriculum for students with disabilities in the CAA, creating and testing an innovative educational program. Teachers and parents will benefit from training sessions and practical workshops for the use of the CAA method, which will facilitate integration into inclusive education. An interactive digital platform will provide accessible educational resources. Dissemination and sustainability activities shall ensure their long-term implementation.
Fighting the Fire
Fighting the Fire is an educational project focused on forest fire prevention and sustainable forest recovery. Through creative activities such as posters, banners, an interactive magazine, and tree-planting events, the project encourages students to understand the causes and consequences of forest fires and explore effective prevention strategies. Participants also learn what actions to take during a fire and how forests can be responsibly managed afterwards. By collaborating with peers from different schools, students gain hands-on experience and contribute to a wider awareness campaign aimed at promoting environmental responsibility within the community.
IZONE: inclusive and digital education for an intercultural future
IZone connects schools across Europe to promote inclusive and digital education for all children. Through creative activities, cultural exchanges, and teamwork, students learn to appreciate diversity, collaborate, and utilise technology responsibly. Teachers share good practices and create innovative learning materials to make schools more open, welcoming, and connected.
Living or Non-Living? The Magic of Life Around Us
In this project, students explore the fascinating world of living and non-living things. Through observation, sorting activities, and nature walks, they learn to classify plants, animals, and objects, understand what makes something “alive,” and discover the impact of invasive species on ecosystems. Creative tasks like drawings and group presentations help them reflect on how to care for the natural world.
Ecosystems 2024-25
Exploring Ecosystems: The Web of Life Around Us!
Our 4th grade students are taking a deep dive into nature with The Web of Life Around Us, an exciting eTwinning project that helps them explore ecosystems and understand their importance. Through hands-on activities, observations, and experiments, they are discovering how plants, animals, and microorganisms interact with their surroundings and each other.
Collaboration is a key part of this project! Students are working with their peers from other schools to compare ecosystems, share findings, and gain a greater appreciation for biodiversity. By participating, they are developing essential scientific thinking skills while also becoming more aware of the delicate balance of nature.
In the photo, our young researchers are busy preparing a Canva presentation in groups, organizing their discoveries and insights to share with their international partners. They are using creativity and teamwork to present their findings in a clear and engaging way. Stay tuned for more updates as they continue their journey into the world of ecosystems!
Science and fun
